About us

A few words about the history of Dor-Med...

Since 1992, we have been specializing in hearing care, being among the pioneers in Poland. Over the years, we have operated hearing care clinics across seven provinces, conducting hearing tests and fitting hearing aids with the help of a team of highly qualified professionals who utilized the latest methods.

Through testing and research, in cooperation with technical universities in Poznań and Bydgoszcz, we developed innovative designs for audiometric silence booths for hearing examinations. As a result, we obtained CE certification. These designs were submitted to the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices, and Biocidal Products.

Silence booths at the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP)

We are delighted that our work is also showcased during the finals of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, where we conduct hearing tests in our silence booths at the TVP Studio in Warsaw. We currently support WOŚP as part of Nasercowe Granie in Bydgoszcz.

"Everyone can sing" – Acoustic booth at the Polish Song Museum in Opole

We are proud that three of our booths are located in the Polish Song Museum in Opole, serving visitors. Guests enter the booth, put on headphones, and select a song on a monitor. The lyrics appear on the screen, while the backing track plays through the headphones. The performance is recorded on a computer, and users can listen to their recording or send it to their email. A fun experience with surprising results!

When signing contracts for audiometric tests and hearing aid fitting agreements, the National Health Fund (NFZ) requires that these tests be performed in audiometric soundproof cabins.

What is the purpose of hearing tests in an audiometric cabin?

Hearing tests are conducted in a specialized audiometric cabin or a soundproof room. This allows us to assess the condition of the hearing. The results provide insight into the type of damage, which, combined with the medical history, helps determine the best therapy.

In accordance with regulations ensuring patient safety, comfort, and reliable test results, our audiometric soundproof booths are CE certified and registered with the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices, and Biocidal Products.

This is crucial when cooperating with the NFZ, as this certification and registration are necessary to sign contracts and receive reimbursement for tests.

Who can be tested in our audiometric cabins?

Our audiometric soundproof booths are designed for testing children, adults, and disabled individuals, thanks to the option of installing a wheelchair ramp.

Availability and installation of soundproof cabins

The availability of the soundproof cabin is 10 working days from the moment the order is placed. The construction of the audiometric soundproof cabin is designed for quick and efficient installation anywhere. Installation of the audiometric cabin is priced at 1000 PLN net.

Charakterystyka techniczna kabin audiometrycznych

The structure of the audiometric soundproof cabin is multi-layered, ensuring high soundproofing qualities and modular. Its design consists of 6 segmentsmade from durable materials, facilitating installation and enabling the cabin to be quickly and easily moved to another office.

The outer wood-like panel is washable and stain-resistant. The external casing standardowo wykonywana jest w jednym z 4 kolorów: biały, szary, klon, olcha. The corners of the walls are finished with aluminum angle bars, enhancing the aesthetic qualities and preventing mechanical damage. The window opening or patient monitoring and the entry door are placed according to the client's specifications. Below the window opening, there is a shelf for the audiometer. Its dimensions allow the installation of any audiometer.

The audiometric cabin doors can be equipped with a wheelchair ramp, allowing easy access for disabled individuals. This feature applies to models from KC 120 upwards and is available on request (additional fee). The interior is made of eco-leather in vanilla or gray shades.  Gentle lighting and eco-leather upholstery make the interior comfortable and patient-friendly. The cabin has sufficient gravity ventilation, with the possibility of forced ventilation (additional cost). The floor of the soundproof cabin is multi-layered and vibration-resistant.

FAQ – Kabiny audiometryczne i kabiny ciszy

Co to jest kabina audiometryczna?

Kabina audiometryczna (kabina ciszy) to specjalistyczne, wyciszone pomieszczenie służące do przeprowadzania badań słuchu. Izoluje pacjenta od hałasu zewnętrznego, co zapewnia precyzyjne wyniki audiometrii.

NFZ wymaga, aby badania audiometryczne i dobór aparatów słuchowych były wykonywane w kabinach ciszy. Jest to warunek konieczny do podpisania kontraktu z NFZ i uzyskania refundacji badań.

Kabina musi posiadać certyfikat CE oraz być zgłoszona w Urzędzie Rejestracji Produktów Leczniczych, Wyrobów Medycznych i Produktów Biobójczych. Bez tych dokumentów nie można podpisać kontraktu z NFZ.

Kabiny kierowane są do gabinetów protetyki słuchu, gabinetów audiologicznych i laryngologicznych, przychodni medycyny pracy, centrów medycznych oraz szpitali.

Tak. Modele od KC-120 wzwyż mogą być wyposażone w podjazd dla wózków inwalidzkich, co umożliwia swobodny wjazd osobom z ograniczoną mobilnością.

Konstrukcja jest wielowarstwowa i modułowa, składa się z 6 segmentów. Zewnętrzna płyta jest zmywalna i plamoodporna. Wnętrze wykończone ekoskórą. Narożniki zabezpieczone aluminiowymi kątownikami.

Czas realizacji wynosi 10 dni roboczych od złożenia zamówienia. Montaż jest szybki dzięki modułowej konstrukcji.

Tak. Modułowa konstrukcja pozwala na wielokrotne, szybkie przenoszenie kabiny do innej lokalizacji bez utraty właściwości izolacyjnych.

Standardowo: biały, szary, klon, olcha. Na życzenie możliwy jest indywidualny dobór koloru z szerszej palety (wymaga osobnej wyceny).

Tak. Każda kabina posiada wentylację grawitacyjną. Na życzenie klienta możliwe jest zamontowanie wentylacji wymuszonej za dodatkową opłatą.

Otwór okienny i drzwi wejściowe montowane są w miejscu wskazanym przez klienta, co pozwala dostosować kabinę do układu gabinetu.

Dla badań audiometrycznych wymagany poziom maksymalnego hałasu w kabinie to 20-25 dB. Kabina musi tłumić dźwięki zewnętrzne, aby pacjent mógł wykryć najsłabsze sygnały testowe.

Międzynarodowa norma ISO 8253-1 określa wymagania dotyczące przeprowadzania badań audiometrycznych, w tym dopuszczalny poziom hałasu otoczenia, układ pomieszczenia i warunki akustyczne.

Na izolacyjność wpływają: wielowarstwowa konstrukcja ścian, jakość uszczelnień drzwi i okien, grubość szyby, antywibracyjna podłoga oraz lokalizacja kabiny w cichym miejscu budynku.

Tak. Kabiny audiometryczne są wyrobami medycznymi klasy I i muszą posiadać deklarację zgodności CE zgodnie z dyrektywą 93/42/CEE (obecnie EU 2017/745).
